Jo Ann Clouse Mitchell, 62, of Batesville passed away Monday, April 29, 2024.
She was born September 22, 1961 in Port St. Joe (Tindall Air Force Base), Florida to Morris ''Mark'' Clouse and Judy Sims Clouse.
Jo worked for Nu-Way Cleaners for 20 years. The last eight years, she worked for Peco. She was a great mom and grandmother who loved her kids and grandkids; they were her whole life. She bought Christmas presents all year round just to make sure everyone got something. Jo loved being outdoors and growing flowers, especially tulips and irises. She also enjoyed sewing and dancing.
She is survived by her companion, Jerome; two daughters, Crystal Sullivan (Gabriel) of Cave City, Mary Michelle Treadway (Chris) of Batesville; three sisters, Pam Pierce (Tony) of Bradford, Donna Naples (Joe) of Batesville, Judy English of Houma, Louisiana; nine grandchildren, Shannon Seay, Lillian Rysdam, Leon Mark Fulbright, Isabelle Sullivan, Deonte Sullivan, Jarvius Sullivan, Lil Chris Treadway, Xavier Jackson, Gabrielle Auston; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Cody Ray Treadway.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Independence County, 5 Environmental Drive, Batesville, AR 72501.
