Ozella Rosetta Williams, lovingly known as ''Shorty'', passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She was born on February 12, 1951 in Light, AR to Richard and Minnie (Sisco) Huffman. Shorty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a firecracker spirit and a love for Bingo, card games and dice.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Danny Williams; her parents and a sister, Effie Huffman.
Those left to cherish her memory include sons, Daniel (Tanya) Williams and Samuel Williams; daughter, Amanda (Jeffery) McGinty; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with another one on the way; a brother, Rick (Mandy) Huffman; a sister, Florene ''Buttons'' Renck; a daughter in law, Amanda F. Williams and many friends, family and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 beginning at 11am at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home 1900 W. Washington Ave. Jonesboro, AR 72401.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
Daniel, Sam, and Amanda I'm so sorry to see where your dear mother has passed. I thought of her as my dear friend. I tried to find you all many times over the yrs. May God give you the peace and direction to carry on.
