James Arthur ''Jimmy'' Squires, 82, of Clinton, AR passed away on April 19, 2024. He was born January 25, 1942 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Jimmy, a proud Marine Corp veteran, served his country with honor.
Known for his gregarious nature, Jimmy never met a stranger. Fishing and cruising Greers Ferry Lake were among his favorite pastimes. His skills at creating beautiful and unique creations are cherished by many who are fortunate to have been gifted with his craftsmanship.
He was a loving and faithful servant of the Lord and loved praising him, singing beautiful gospel hymns. He was a highly skilled machinist and maintenance supervisor and many that worked with him remained close, personal friends throughout his life.
Jimmy was a devoted husband to Mary and a loving father to Teresa and Scott. He adored his grand and great-grandchildren and found immense joy in their company.
Jimmy will be remembered for him warm personality, his passion for creating and his deep love for his family. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever treasured by those who knew him.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Teresa Harrington (Jerry) and son, Scott Squires (Rondi); grandchildren, Tyler, Kaleb, Ross and Kaci and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Addi. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 11:00am at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 10:00am. Burial will follow at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, AR.

I will always remember your dad. He was always so good to include me and my horse with y’all and your activities. I always felt at home.
