Doris Inez Eddings Harper, 95, of Drasco passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024.

She was born February 14, 1929 in Five Mile, Arkansas to William Levi Eddings and Viola Liles Eddings.

Doris was of the Baptist faith. She taught primarily Elementary School in Arkansas, Missouri, New Mexico, Georgia and retired in California after 32 years of teaching. Doris was a member of the Cleburne County Historical Society. She was also a member of the Shady Lawn Quilters and a beekeeper.

Survivors include her son, Bill Harper (Robyn); daughter, Lynn Harper (Steven Martin); sister, Norma Eddings Hartman (Linn); grandson, Stephen Taft (Tessa); and great-granddaughter, Betty Taft.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lela Cranford; brothers, Vernie Lee Eddings and Coil Ray Eddings.

In Lieu of flowers donation may be made in her honor to Macedonia Cemetery Fund.
