Terri Chapman

of Norfork, AR

October 29, 1958 - April 17, 2024

Terri Kay Chapman triumphantly entered the kingdom of Heaven, Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

Terri was a Norfork graduate and was married to her husband, Dale Chapman, on February 03, 1981. She was a long term employee with Baxter Lab and a member of the Lone Rock Baptist Church.

Terri was known for her sense of humor, quick wit, kind heart and love of sports. Her strength and bravery allowed her to fight Multiple Sclerosis for decades. While the disease presented challenges, she was always known to be a fighter and was able to stay active and do the things she enjoyed in life. Her strength and kindness will be a guide for the rest of the family to follow in honoring her memory.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents, Benny and Reba Long; her husband, Dale Chapman; two brothers, Walter Jay Long and Joey Campbell Long and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Lena (Parnell) Chapman and nephew, Joey Curtis Long.

Terri is survived by her two children, Ty (Crystal) Chapman and Ashley (Brad) Poush. In addition, she leaves behind a granddaughter, Kaylynn Chapman; siblings, Cindy Long, Lisa Long, Drew Long and Grey Long and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Long, John Crews, Chad Chapman, Oscar Chapman, Jason Acklin and Justin Nozar. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Clark and Ashton Clark.

Visitation will be at Roller Funeral Home Friday, April 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Lone Rock Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, with Brother Doug Huskey officiating with burial at the Burnt School House Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Burnt School House.

My mother, Betty Preyer, spoke of Terri often. MAINLY, in regards to playing softball.
She fondly mentioned speaking to her on the phone in the last few years. My mother passed away March 29th.

Condolences to Terri’s family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Terri's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they go through the loss of their love one. She never missed church and I am sure it was a challenge for her to get there. She was a fighter and she never gave up. God Bless each one you.
