Margurette Elizabeth Tice

of Little Rock, AR

October 18, 1943 - April 14, 2024

Margurette Elizabeth Tice, 80, went home to be with the Lord peacefully, with her family by her side on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on October 18, 1943 in Ozark, Arkansas. She was raised in Borger, Texas by her grandparents. Following graduation at Borger High School she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where she met the love of her life, Jimmy Tice. During those early years in Little Rock, she worked at a Western Store at University Shopping Center, where she met Jimmy, then as an accountant at Refrigeration and Electric Supply Company in Little Rock.

Jimmy and Margurette were married in 1964 and later had two children, Rhonda and Melissa.

In 1970, they both founded Tice Automotive Air Conditioning, Inc. in Little Rock. Their successful company provided automotive air conditioning services and distributed parts throughout many states for that industry for over fifty years until 2022.

Margurette loved her family and especially enjoyed family gatherings at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Fourth of July. She enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, spending time at the lake and traveling. She loved horses and dogs, including her late dog, Callie.

Margurette is survived by her husband, Jimmy Tice; daughters, Rhonda Marlar and Melissa Tice; grandchildren, James Marlar (Roxanne), Dean Marlar, Anna Marlar (Trevor Newkirk), Mary Smith (Clark), Rob Pickens and great grandchildren, Forrest Marlar and Della Cate Smith.
