I will always cherish the many years Bro Duaine and Ms. Deanna were my Nabor's in Conway. I could be outside working on something, and Duaine would always stop. Whether they were on a mission or returning from church to check on me and see how I was doing! He made it a point to give me some encouragement, a verse to think about and always a prayer.
You both were absolute blessings! The Love and Devotion to the Lord, his church, and all the men he touched. Active with Beastfest and Renewal Ranch, a God sent messenger and mentor. I know of many that will be forever grateful. Bro Duaine's smile and laughter were infectious! I will miss that sweet man, and wow what amazing example I had!!! Praying you will keep an eye on me as I try to be the man you invested in. Until we are all celebrating with Him! km

Bro. Blakemore was the minister once a month at our church services at College Square Retirement Home and I have never heard a preacher with more love in his voice and countenance than Bro. Blakemore. I am thankful that I was so privileged to know and hear his sermons those few short months that he was able to be with us here at College Square.

I am so grateful to my cousin Deanna for finding me and bring Duaine into my life. He was a breath of fresh air driving me throughout Arkansas and Missouri exploring places I"d never been. When he and Deanna visited us in California, we explored our state. We laughed, shared family stories, met new family, cooked, enjoyed restaurants, watched baseball, and drove the complex California freeway system. He had a cutting, yet sweet sense of humor and was very clear about his calling in this life. I know you will miss him in your everyday lives. Sincerely, Louise Green Loyd

Brother Blackmore’s ability to minister to people, no matter their situation or what they might have going on in their life was that of a truly dedicated man of God. He embodied the love of Christ. His gift was that of assurance and hope. I consider it an honor to have had the opportunity to be at the kitchen table there in his and Deanna’s home with them as my sister and I, on two occasions, were there as a result of our parents’ passing. Our father in 2014 and then our mother in 2020. We will always treasure his support during those times and his willingness to speak at both of their funerals even though it had been over 30 years since he was their pastor at Palestine Baptist in Pearson. We consider both Brother Duaine and Sister Deanna family. When I visited them briefly when they were at the Superior Rehab Center there in Conway several months ago the love I felt from both of them moved me to tears. My heart goes out to Sister Deanna, to Terry, Brent, and Don and to all of their family. Brother Duaine’s legacy was evident today as his life was celebrated at 2nd Baptist. It is clear that his family and those who knew him will carry that legacy as they minister to others by his example. What a humble man of God he was!

Mrs. Deanna and family, our hearts hurt with you! At the same time we know without a shadow of a doubt that Bro. Duaine entered the gates of heaven and heard the words “Well done my good and faithful servant.” And not truer words could be used to describe this man who lived out the great commission each day. His and Mrs. Deanna’s devotion to the Lord impacted me from an early age, and that legacy continues to this day in my life! I can hear their voices reminding me of God’s goodness and faithfulness and mercy and love. Yes, we surely grieve with you. And rejoice in the Lord for the promise of resurrection and reunion.

Jimbo and I were blessed to have Bro Duane marry us over 40 years ago. When he and Mrs. Deanna left Foreman, there was a void in our community. He was a friend to all, no matter the domination, race, rich or poor. He was a faithful and a true servant of the Lord. Our whole family has been blessed by their friendship and love.
Our thoughts are prayers are with you Ms Deanna. We love you.

Mrs. Deanna and family, we are so sorry to hear of Brother Duaine’s passing. We are so grateful and blessed to have had the privilege to know Brother Duaine. You and Brother Duaine have been part of our family during the good and bad times. Brother Duaine married the three Salem children, preached many of our loved ones funerals, and spent many hours sitting in the hospital room while we were facing sickness with our loved ones. Brother Duaine was always there anytime any of our family needed him. To the Blackmore family, thank you for sharing Brother Duaine with us. Words cannot express how much we love you and your family for all of the support and love over the years. You have been such a blessing to our family and we are so grateful. Prayers and love to all.

Brother Dwayne was a dear man that I loved and appreciated for so many years first in Foreman, AR and then in Conway. He always let me know what I meant to him and his family each time we gathered.

He ministered me through bad and good times in my life. I always felt his love and care for me and my son.

A sweet soul that ministered to people, loved life, sports and anything associated with ministry. He always had time for others and gave help where there was a need. A prayer warrior indeed that prayed for many souls during his lifetime.

He especially had a special calling for the young people to see them come to know God. The Lord gave his years of ministry that will remember by all that he helped through his years of being a minister and pastor.

Terry and Family,
We were so sad to hear of your dad's sudden passing. He was so special to us and to the people in Conway. He made every inch of this City his ministry ground, as he did everywhere he went. When we saw him only weeks ago he instantly recalled to your brother every detail of how we met and every connection we had. He never met a stranger and making connections instantly with anyone he met was absolutely his signature move........just exactly like his wonderful Savior. The song "What A Day That Will Be" was probably written with him in mind! We loved him so very much and will treasure every memory of him. We will be praying for peace and comfort for your mom and all of your precious family in the days ahead. Much love to all of you.
