Benny Merl Bishop, 89, of Searcy passed from this life on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. He was born to the late Averi and Margaret Smith Bishop on December 8, 1934. Mr. Bishop is preceded in death by his wife, Gail Slessler Bishop and son, Benny M. Bishop.

Survivors include one son, Brad Bishop (Heather) of Searcy; daughter, Kelly Kastilein of Maine; three brothers, Don Bishop, Terry Bishop and Butch Bishop and one sister, Linda Page; four grandchildren, Gretchen Grieogo, Brendan Bishop, Isabella Bishop and MaKayla Simmons.

A memorial Service in his honor will be held 2:30PM Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel, 411 E Race St., Searcy, AR 72143.
