Kathleen Bufford of Trumann was released from her earthly body April 7, 2024 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. She was born July 5, 1932 in Hamilton, Alabama to David Monroe and Sara Isabell Hall.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 68 years, Rev. Frank Bufford; brothers, Donald Lee Hall, Gene Hall, David Monroe Hall, Jr., Stanley Hall, Ray Morris Hall and sisters, Maxine Batis, Pauline Lundy Davis and Omega Earline Greenwood.
She is survived by her five sons, Frankie Ray Bufford (Charlotte), Stanley Eugene Bufford (Melanie), Robert Wayne Bufford (Connie), Timothy Lee Bufford (Tammy) and Matthew Lynn Bufford (Misti) and bonus daughter, Kristy Burchell (Tim); brothers, Joseph Sidney Hall and David Lundy Hall (Jody); sisters, Mary Jane Dye (Jimmy), Virginia Lee Anderson and Robbie Arlene Jackson (Larry); grandchildren, Ambrea Holman (Nate), Jennifer Wells, Whitney Barnes (Josh), Ryan Bufford (Rachel), Alyssa Fulford (Jason), Matison Bufford (Carlos) and 8 great grandchildren along with a hosts of nephews, nieces, friends and loved ones. Kathleen was the epitome of true Christian love and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Trumann on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 12pm, with Larry Loggins and Kevin Carter officiating. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 11am. A private burial will follow.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are her sons and her grandson. The ladies Sunday School class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
