Billy Lee Kimbriel, 89, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at home.
Billy was born on August 14, 1934 in Grants, New Mexico to his parents, Dorsey Kimbriel and Virginia (Roland) Kimbriel. He was a United States Marine veteran serving in Korea and Vietnam. He served as Sheriff for Logan County in Arkansas for 17 years and was the Chief of Police for the city of Paris while also taking care of a cattle and poultry farm. Bill married Gloria Natalie Barrasso on May 23, 1955, they were married for 68 years before her passing May 18, 2023. Bill enjoyed spending time out at his farm with his wife and family. He loved to hunt, fish and watch the Arkansas Razorbacks.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Gloria Kimbriel; two sisters and one brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra Thomas and husband, Keith of Paris, Arkansas; one son, William Lee Kimbriel and wife, Karen of Mountain Home, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Shane Snow and wife, Amy, Risha Jones and husband, Kris and Dylan Kimbriel; five great grandchildren, Mackenzie Snow, Shira Stepp, Tyler Snow, Shaley Newman and Brecken Jones; other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home in Paris officiated by Rev. Keith Bullock. Burial with military honors will follow at St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery in Subiaco.
Pallbearers will be Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff's Department

Bill always had something funny to say when I was talking to him especially when we were hauling hay for him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
