Vickie Dawn Dowdy (Marshall), 62, of Mountain View went to be with the Lord on the first day of spring, March 21st, 2024.
Vickie Dawn was born August 24th, 1961 in Peoria Illinois to Frederick Roger Marshall Sr. and Jimmi Lea Marshall (Powell).
Vickie Dawn enjoyed a wide variety of things in life and accomplished much in her lifetime. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, was an animal lover; she also enjoyed the small simple things in life that most take for granted. She received her master's of criminal justice from Liberty University and graduated with honors. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lee Dowdy; parents, Frederick "Roger" Marshall Sr., Jimmi Lea Marshall (Powell) and one brother, Frederick "Roger" Marshall Jr.
Survived by her two children, Caleb Powell Glasgow, Josie Lea Burrow (Glasgow); one son-in- law, Austin Burrow; two step children, Tim Dowdy of Lipan, Texas, Rebecca Dowdy of Azle, Texas; five grandchildren, Weston Burrow, Waylon Burrow, Hadley Burrow, Enoch Burrow and Abram Burrow; two sisters, Marilyn Kay Wrinkle and Donna Turk of Azle, Texas; five nephews, Jody Turk, William Wrinkle, Bradley Wrinkle, Chris Marshall and Jesse Marshall. Not to mention numerous friends that became family throughout her life that will miss her terribly.
Burial was Friday, March 22nd at Blue Mountain Cemetery in Timbo, Arkansas.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
I will miss you. You were a good friend and a beautiful soul. Till we meet again I hope ur working on that heavenly garden! Love and prayers to all the family and friends!

I was completely shocked to hear of Vicki Dawn passing, seeing how we are first cousin and I miss her service, but she was always a delight to be around, during the 80 she entain the teenage in MTN.View by booking concerts in the Old mountain View gymnasium, in which she and her family owned after mountain View went to its new school, to the family may God be with you, al through this.
