Angela Marie Bauer Janowieki, age 52, of Conway AR passed from this life on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin on March 25, 1971, she was the daughter of Hermine Magdalena Linz and Ernest Bauer and the step-daughter of Michael Linz; the grand-daughter of Johann and Maria Abt and Adam and Maria Bauer.
Angela was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her husband, Christian Janowieki and children, Aaryanna and Johann Janowieki; sister, Sharon Hess; brother, David Murphy and nieces and nephews. .
For over 20 years, Angela served as an active member of the Conway business community, serving as an employee of Axciom and Hewlett-Packard. She was a graduate of Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. About 8 years ago, she attended the Pulaski County Culinary Institute and became a co-owner of Ed's Bakery in Conway with her best friend and sister, Sharon Hess. Angela was passionate and energetic about serving up old favorites as well as new specialties at the bakery. She loved to see people smile after stopping in for a tasty treat or a quick lunch.
In addition to her work at the bakery, Angela loved spending time with family. She was a proud mother and involved with Aaryanna's sports teams and Girl Scout activities as she grew up, as well as Johann's sports and Boy Scouts. For birthdays and holidays, she loved cooking up a storm, sometimes enough to feed an army. She especially loved traditional German recipes. Angela was witty and animated. Family and friends can attest to the fact that she could easily communicate her feelings with a stern look or vibrant smile. Angela's love was endless and she will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday, March 24th, one day before Angela's 53rd birthday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
