Arleta Grace Westbay of Bryant, AR passed away at home on March 17th, 2024.
Arleta was born in Corning, Iowa to Arthur and Grace Lundquist on December 19, 1929. Earning a college teaching degree, Arleta went on to teach elementary school in Germany and Maryland. Upon retirement, she moved to Bryant.
Arleta was a member of Bryant First Methodist Church. She is survived by Tim Milliken, Sarah Linder, Tracy Ferguson, Rebecca and Lesa Allison, Jill Noah, Loren Boston and many great nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at Pinecrest Cemetery on April 1st at 11:00am.

To my dear Arleta. I made my annual phone call to Arleta on her birthday ~ her phone line was disconnected. I knew something was wrong. I didn’t realize Arleta had passed away. Arleta and I taught together in Maryland. She was the angel who took me under her wings and taught me so much. I will miss talking to you. You are an angel!

Ms. Arleta was a wonderful and sweet lady. I loved our visits so very much. I started as her house cleaning lady but over the years we became good friends. I will miss our visits together and will miss my friend.

What a sweet, fun spirited lady. Loved hearing stores of her travels and gardening. I was her banker for many years and always enjoyed our visits.
