Charles David Baker, 94, of Osceola passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. He was born in Luxora on November 8, 1929 to Earl Jacob and Lillie Baker. Charles served in the United States Air Force and was of Baptist faith. He was a graduate of Luxora High School and was a retired farmer. Charles had also retired from the United States Postal Service. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and calling the hogs, Charles was an avid Razorback fan. He is survived by his sons, Charles (Tracy) Baker Jr., Tony (Michelle) Baker; daughters, Charlene (Buddy) Hart, Lori (Robert) Compton; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose Marie (DeSain) Baker; his parents and his siblings, Mary Tate, Hazel Kyle, Dorothy Baker, Pauline Alsworth, Donald Baker and E.J. Baker Jr. The graveside service will be held at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude Hospital.
