Jackie Miller Strader, 71, of Batesville passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024.
She was born July 12, 1952 in Quad Cities, Illinois to Jack Miller and Nora Crawford Miller Herron.
Jackie was a feisty, strong willed woman who had a big heart. Family was the most important thing to her, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, Jackie loved being outside and traveling, riding backroads and going to the beach. She enjoyed singing, painting, and drawing. She painted both landscapes and portraits and some of the things she drew included wall murals and pictures of Jesus.
Survivors include one daughter, Kelley Stiles and her fiancée Brandi of Sherwood; two sons, Hugh Stiles of Batesville, DJ Strader of Illinois; one sister, Susie Kelley of Colona, Illinois; seven grandchildren, Lauren Bentley (Matthew), Hannah Alvarado (Marcus), Calin Murphy (Ryan), Madison Stiles, Mikah McCage (Wyatt), Presley Piker, and Scout Piker; ten great grandchildren, Athena, Arabella, Ares, Chloe, Zoey, Kimber, Easton, Emma, Kymbrie, and Lane, and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Michael Stiles; second husband, Dale Strader, four brothers, two sisters, and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. We use to play together a lot at Grandma Crawford's house on 4th Ave. We weren't around each other much after I moved back to Oklahoma. But I always missed her.

I am heartbroken that you are gone. You have known me since I was 18 years old. You are part of the reason I am the woman I am today. You loved me like i was your own. I became your daughter in law and even after I wasnt Married to your son you still treated me leave like family and loved me. You have been the most loving grandmother to mine and Hughs daughters. You had such a special bond with my girls and me. It has Been an honor to call u my family, my mother in law, a mom after I wasnt your daughter in law, and my friend. I'm going to miss you so so much. I know you and poppa have reunited in heaven and I know the both of you were so happy to be back together. I hope you knew how much I love you and I promise I will never not remember you. I was lucky to get to have you in my life for almost 25 years. Until we meet again Rest In Love Mom/Nanny.
