Randy Gene Burks, 70, of Stuttgart passed away with family by his side on March 5, 2024. He was born July 13,1953 to A. Loomis and Mamie Burks.
He worked in construction for Arkla Gas. He loved his family, friends and animals. Randy enjoyed classic cars and never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roger. Randy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Margie Hodges Burks; one son, Marc Burks (Tina) of Sikeston, Missouri; one daughter, Joanie Hopson (Wayne) of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Ricky Burks (Beverly) of England, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Saturday, March 9, 2024. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. and the service will be at 2:00 P.M. All will be held in the Chapel at Mulberry Cemetery.

Very saddened to hear this. I always remembered him as this super cool guy who came to visit us in Florida on a Harley. Such a nice guy. Rest in Peace Cousin Randy.

Margie, I was so very sorry to learn of Randy’s passing. I know it’s been sometime since I’ve seen either of you. I remember and respect 2 things that really stood out about Randy—consistency and kindness. I suppose I should just say that Randy was consistently kind—what a gift. I will have you and your entire family in my prayers for Peace and Comfort.

Randy was my first cousin and he was my favorite cousin cousin he would do anything for anybody bless his heart he’s no longer in pain and he’s with his mom and daddy and brother him I love you down in my heart I am break my heart that you had to leave soon
