Sharon Kathleen Mason ''Grammy'', 81, of Mena, Arkansas formally of Fort Smith passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 with her loved ones by her side.
She was born October 5, 1942 in Los Angeles, California to Jesse James Breazzeal and Wanda (Saylor) Breazzeal. She was a homemaker, mother and grandmother. Her life was one that was centered around her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She tried to contact each one on their birthdays and other special times in their lives. She was always there to help each of them out when they fell on difficult times. Grammy loved the holidays, especially Christmas, she would decorate the house with so many different Santa figurines and Christmas items that you barely had room for anything else. She loved and spoiled her dogs, Mini and Pickle, she would always have them sleep with her or sit on her lap. She loved Hostess snack cakes, especially the Chocolate Cupcakes and Twinkies, Tootsie rolls, shopping and collecting dolls.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents mentioned above and her brother, Carl Ray Breazzeal.
She is survived by her three sons, Gary Gordon and wife, Melaine of Van Buren, Jeff Gordon and wife, Terri of Citrus Heights, California and Scooter Breazzeal and wife, Melissa of Ft. Smith; three daughters, Karen Baugh and husband, Larry of Mena, Carla Chrisman and husband, Mike of Booneville and Wendy Belue of Van Buren; a brother, Grady Breazzeal of Mena; twenty-five grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
A Graveside Funeral Service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2024 at Forrest Park Cemetery in Ft. Smith.
Pallbearers will be her children.
Funeral Service arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
