Charles W. Allen, 88, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 in Batesville, Arkansas. Charles was born on October 6, 1935 to the late Wayne and Wilma (Pipkin) Allen in Griffithville, Arkansas. Charles was a hard working cattle farmer, who early on owned a cattle farm, chicken houses and horses. He loved gardening and grew way more vegetables than he was able to consume, so he would generously share his harvest with friends, neighbors and family. His true passion was farming and being on his tractor, which brought him so much joy from morning until evening. Charles was a member of Flatwoods Church in Mountain View, Arkansas and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Charles is survived by his children, two sons, Mike Allen of Fresno, California and Stacy Allen of Batesville, Arkansas; one daughter, Chris Bickel of Mountain View, Arkansas; two brothers, Dalton and Bobby Allen; three sisters, Betty Woodruff, Mary Allen and Glenda Fozzard; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Wilma (Pipkin) Allen; his beloved wife of 61 years, Margaret Allen; one daughter, Nancy Johnson; one brother, Jim Allen and one sister, Naomi Allen and one grandchild, Quinci Allen.

A private family service will take place at a later date.

Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
