Gina was a friend since our days studying journalism at ASU. I shared many laughs with her. I last saw her several years ago when I visited ASU. I am honored and blessed to have known such a kind, talented woman.
Gina was one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve known. She was so positive and empathetic. She was a great influence on so many coaches and athletes. We wish we could be there but will be there in spirit. Prayers for all.

Gina was the sweetheart of the entire family. Loved by all - family, friends, coworkers and strangers she met along the way. Gina was kind, honest, loving and caring of one and all. She will be missed by more than the salt grains of the earth.

I first met Gina when I was working for Coach Cat as a student manager. I switched to the SID office and got to work next to Gina every day. She was a wonderful mentor and a joy to be around. She loved her school and her job and will be forever missed. Rest in Peace.

she -was truly a blessing to all and a god-send to ASU ... no one left her presence without a feeling of kinship ... she always did her best to work and help others ... she was a wealth of information and compassion ... wishing the best to the family and know that her time on earth was well spent in helping others ...
I met Gina in a PIO class put on by the State in 2009. What I didn't know then was that once you become a friend of hers - it was for life. One of the nicest persons anyone could ever meet. Her friendship meant a lot and her wit and wisdom will he missed. Prayers for her family and friends! Sam

What a legacy!
Gina had a rare combination of talents, all at the same time she was professional, caring, sincere and honest. She loved her university and served it above and beyond the call of duty. She was a favorite and will be missed by everyone who ever met her.
Gina was a wonderful person and thankful to have known her. Class of 1970
I have very fond memories of Gina from my time as a student assistant in the SID office at ASU in the early 80’s. She was funny, super nice, very talented and helpful to everyone. Lifting up her family in my prayers.
Gina holds a special place in my heart. She, Phareta, Mike and all the Bowmans were so nice to me and I’ll never forget all the good times. Some people make a lifelong impact and Gina was one of those people. May God bless and comfort her family and friends.
I was so blessed to call Gina a friend and shared the love and supporting Arkansas State University. She will never be replaced with all her knowledge about ASU. I think she took a secret to her grave, that she was Governor Beebe informant when it came to ASU sports RIP by friend
