Cheryl Lynn Creech, 79, of Sherwood passed away February 23, 2023.

She was born January 18, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was predeceased by her husband, James E. Creech; her parents, John A. Ponikvar and Helen L. Ponikvar and daughter, Heather M. Lamson.

Cheryl was a licensed practical nurse and worked at St. Vincent's Hospital and the VA Hospital in Little Rock until 1986. She enjoyed reading, fishing and hunting.

She is survived by her brother, John R. Ponikvar (Carol); daughter, Kimberly Tackett (Woody); son, Richard T. Lamson II; stepdaughter, Dorothy Varnell (Kenneth); grandchildren, Richard T. Lamson III, Jacquelyn M. Delaune, Victoria L. Delaune, Daniel Lamson and Caitlynn Burnett and great-grandchildren, Joslyn Edington, Vallen Grey Delaune and Elan Clark.

Visitation will be Friday, March 1st at 12:00 p.m. and services at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, Deacon Ed Sweeden officiating. Committal service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Deacon Ron Lee officiating.
