James Kitchens, 77, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully Thursday, February 22, 2024. He was born December 17, 1946 to Fletcher Ralford Kitchens and Elizabeth Buchanan Kitchens in Parkin, Arkansas.
He is survived by one son, Allen Kitchens (Vicki) of Drasco, Arkansas; one daughter, Kelly Duncan (Tobey) of West Memphis, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Tyler Kitchens, Eli Duncan, Mary Grace Duncan, Charlotte Duncan and Valorie Duncan; one brother, David Kitchens (Pam) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one sister, Martha Rose of Forrest City, Arkansas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Allideen Kitchens; one sister, Faye Kitchens and two brothers, Fletcher Kitchens and Sam Kitchens.
James loved deer hunting, fishing and drag racing. He was the owner of Kitchens Truck Sales in Marianna.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Thompson, Max Hughes, Tommy St. John, Jack Mullins, Robert Mooney and Brian Mooney.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Crestpark Marianna LLC: Resident Activity Fund, PO Box 386, Marianna, Arkansas 72360.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home.
