Floyd G. Kuykendall, 95, of Paris, Arkansas passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 in Conway.
Floyd was born April 1, 1928 in Branch, Arkansas to his parents, Elmer L. Kuykendall and Bessie L. (Kile) Kuykendall. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving onboard the USS Newman K Perry DD883 during WWII and a licensed CPA in Texas. Floyd enjoyed playing golf and was the President of the Little Creek Golf course in Ratcliff. He also liked to watch Arkansas Razorback football, the Dallas Cowboys and hunting quail. He was a family man who was supportive of his children and grandchildren, he would always attend any of the games that they were playing in.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of seventy-three years, Wilma Ruth (Yother) Kuykendall; a son, Thomas Kuykendall; a daughter, Terri Powers and his brother and sister-in-law, Edsel & Judy Kuykendall.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Kuykendall and wife Kayla of Conway; a daughter, Britne Kuykendall; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Kuykendall of Ohio; three grandchildren, including Blaige & Courtney Kuykendall; a sister, Lila Grist of Charleston; many other family members and friends.
Memorial Service with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Oakwood Cemetery in Paris.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
