of Maumelle, AR
August 27, 1944 - February 13, 2024
Don Lewis Adams, 79, of Morgan-Maumelle, Arkansas died Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at his home. Don was born in a small town in south Arkansas called Lake Village. Don had a twin brother named John and three sisters. Don was an amazing father of two boys Don Jr. being the oldest and John the youngest. Don was married to Esther for 39 years. They lived in Morgan right outside of Maumelle for 37 years in a house that he and his father-in-law built.
Don was a diesel mechanic working one to two full-time jobs to provide an amazing life for his family. Don loved spending his free time playing around in the yard with his dogs or even working on things in the shop. There was nothing he couldn't do or fix if it was broke, he would be the man for the job no matter what it was. However, he had a saying ''If it ain't broke, don't fix it.''
Don was very well known and respected in the community for his tireless work ethic by helping others with lawn care needs and their mechanical issues.
Funeral will be 1:00pm, Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the Chapel of Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cabot, Arkansas.
