Charles Edward Beaver
Charles Edward Beaver, 92, passed away February 7, 2024 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born, one of five children, to Charlie Jones and Bulah Mae Beaver on October 7, 1931 in West Memphis, Arkansas.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Charlsie Pauline Beaver; two sisters, Lucille Huff and Florence Modean Braden and one brother, Monroe Beaver.
Charles was an automobile mechanic by trade and would always stop to help a stranger whom may have broken down in front his house or his neighbor and family members with their cars. He worked for Bemis Bag for 38 years as a maintenance mechanic. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed helping others with basically anything he could. He loved tinkering, gardening, yard work and helping his wife around the house. He was of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by two sons, Bobby Lee Beaver and Jimmy Edward Beaver both of Memphis, Tennessee; one sister, Shirley Fay Spencer of St. Louis, Missouri and a host of friends and family who loved him dearly.
A Visitation will be held at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, 201 N. Pine St. in West Memphis, Arkansas on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 1:00 pm with the funeral service beginning at 200. The burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas.
