Amanda Gail Monreal, 28, of Brookland, AR passed away on Tuesday, February 06, 2024 at UAMS Hospital in Little Rock. She was born on March 30, 1995 in Memphis, TN to William and Betty Sue Barnes. Amanda proudly served in the United States Navy, where she worked as a nuclear engineer. She was a devoted wife and mother and her husband and children were her greatest treasure. She loved sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks, swimming, baking and off roading.
Amanda is preceded in death by her parents and her grandfather-in-law, John Medeiros.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 10 years, Aaron Monreal; her son, Declan Monreal; her daughter, Aspen Monreal; her stepdaughters, Emma, Zoey and Madelynne Monreal; a brother, Dustin Barnes; her lifelong friends, Carrie Griffin and Arissa Branyon and many extended family members, friends and loved ones.
A celebration of life will be be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024 beginning at 2pm at First Assembly of God Church in Trumann, AR.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
You are missed greatly by so many. You had an impact on every person you met and your laugh was contagious and you were so gorgeous. Im happy you're in a better place but I would give anything for 5 more minutes with you. You are the best aunt ever and I don't think I could have asked for anyone better then Amazing Amanda to be call my aunt. I love you so so much. Until we meet again.
i love you amanda not only were you in just my life but my siblings as well and all i know is that you are in a way better place up there then down here i love you amanda so much.when you texted me that was the last text i ever got from you bc next thing i knew your soul was already in heaven.im so glad that ypu became my step-mom you are the bes.t if only i could spend more time before you and grandpa john i would i wish i still had 5-10 minuts left with yall first is grandpa john then you its very hard this year.im just glad that you're soul is in a better place i love you amanda
