John was our neighbor at my parents' cabin. He helped me find my wandering dog dog once, and loaned me a chain with which to walk him home. Though I had awakened him from a nap, John and I visited for awhile in his driveway, discussing trucks, equipment, and dogs. He was really personable, and I wanted to get to know him better, but regrettably never made the time to do so. I'll continue to wave in memory when passing by his home. My dog, Wolfgang, liked him too, which said a lot to me.
