Just learned of the death of Dr B. Our hearts hurt. We moved from Sherwood so we didn’t know till today. We are so very sorry. We loved him very much and certainly are praying for his family. I cannot imagine having a fur baby and not having him to care for them. I know that Gracie was waiting at the gate to welcome him…they had such a special bond. Rest in peace sweet DrB
I am so sorry for your loss, I had no idea! This man was a great vet and person. He will truly be missed!
I just learned Doctor B passed away, he always took great care of my babies, Princess and both Godzilla 1&2
My condolences to the family, he will be missed.
I’m so sorry, Dr. B was a nice person and a great vet. He was wonderful to every one of my fur baby’s that I brought in, he is missed.
My deepest sympathy to the family for their loss. Lance was a one-of-a-kind person willing to go the extra mile and share a good laugh. I remember nothing but good things about him. I'm glad to have known him.
Dr. B was my veterinarian for my cats since I moved to Sherwood 15 years ago. He touched my heart because he was the only Doctor who seemed to care about and connect with my cats; before he would examine them he would first hold their head and look into their eyes and establish trust to them. I found out yesterday that Dr. B had passed when I was updating my contact information for my cat with his Animal Hospital in Sherwood. I had last seen Dr. B for my cat in May of 2023 so when I was told he had suddenly passed away I couldn't believe it. I had to call his office twice because I couldn't believe it was the truth. Dr. B and his family and Veterinarian staff are in my prayers. Dr. B will always be loved by me because he saved my cats lives. He was the best Veterinarian and honest, intelligent and genuine person. God Bless.
I was devastated to learn of Dr. B's passing. He's been my veterinarian since I returned to the US with my two British kitties in '93. And he's cared for their successors, as well. I really appreciated his honesty, sense of humor, and enjoyment of my cats- especially my now 15-year-old Siamese. He always had extra time to give Rolly cuddles during his exams. I will miss him and send my condolences to his family.
Dr. B was truly one of a kind! We are so thankful to have had him in our lives. He was so proud of his family!!He will be very missed. I know our dogs will miss having his love too. We are so sorry for your loss and pray for comfort.
This is hard to believe because I feel like I just saw him with my pup a few weeks ago. Dr. B is the only vet I can remember using and has been vet to my babies for over 18 years. My heart goes out to his family, his friends, his sweet loving employees and all his animal friends.
So sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. B. He was a kind, considerate and caring person around all creatures great and small. Our condolences to his family.
I am so so very sorry. Dr. B was the very best Veterinarian ever!!! He will be very much missed. Dr. B was always so very kind. My Deepest Sympathy & Prayers.
I remember when he was 11 or 12 and played baseball at the Boys Club. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family as he will be missed.
I am so saddened hearing of your families and our communities loss of Dr. B! My aunts used to babysit my first dog, MG and started my 30 plus year journey with Dr. B. I have brought all my babies to him for his loving care, kindness and empathy that he shared.
I live in LR and chose to drive the 20+ minutes just for who he was to me and my babies. We always talked about his girls on our visits and he was so proud of the young ladies they have become and loved his family so!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all!
I am so sorry for the world's loss of Dr. B. My 3 fur babies loved visiting him(for the most part : P) and he was so kind and patience with them and with me. Love and prayers to his family.

Dr. B was an incredible man and vet. The world has lost someone special. Condolences to his family for their loss. He will be missed by so many people. RIP Dr. B.
I send my condolences to Laura and family and Ava and Jill. I was saddened when my sister sent Lance’s obituary from Fort Smith newspaper. I enjoyed spending time with Lance in high school and soon after, seeing his ferret and gerbil, riding thru the woods (now ABF office) in his Jeep, listening to Billy Thorpe’s “Children of the Sun”. I learned some culture when he smashed the crystal cup at his wedding. My brother Mark said Lance showed him the correct orientation of his car’s distributor cap to get it started after a home tune-up. After college, Lance moved east, and I moved west. I regret not keeping in touch with him. He was kind, fun and interesting. I’m sure all his family, friends and patients will miss him dearly.
I feel as if I have lost a friend, I was absolutely shocked when I heard of his passing. Dr. B was so amazing and cared so much about his clients, it wasn't just a job, but a calling. He will be impossible to replace.
Lance was kind, witty and sarcastic as a high school student - class of 1978! My memories of him are from high school and college. He was a generous soul! I am sorry for your loss.
With deepest symphony for the family of Dr B. He was the best. He cared for our kitties. He will be missed.
My condolences to the Bogoslavsky family, his many friends, his employees, and the families of the many pets with whom he provided care. I visited Lance in Arkansas when he first opened his veterinary clinic, and I remember how proud I was of my former veterinary school classmate. Lance was a nice guy with a great sense of humor. His passing will be a great loss to our Tuskegee family!
Dr. B was an amazing man. My heart goes out to his family.
Dr. B was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The world is definitely not a better place without him.
I went to school for years with Lance in Fort Smith. Great guy. One of a kind. RIP my friend.

Reading all the lovely comments here, it’s clear Dr. B touched a lot of lives, both human and critter. I hate that the world lost him, but I am happy to have known him. He will surely be missed by many. Sending my love and deepest sympathy to Dr. B’s family, friends, and the amazing staff of AH&CoS.
I will always be grateful to Dr B for his kindness and love shown to Kirby and now Kassie in the last 23 years. Both loved to go in to see him and the people in the office.
We enjoyed our “Jeep” talk.

As Dr. B. and I were both born and raised in Fort Smith we had memories to share. I will really miss our visits. He was the doctor for my various cats since he opened his practice. He and his staff could not be matched. Thank you everybody for your caring.
I only saw Dr. B one time when I took my cat to him when my Veterinarian was out of town. He treated my cat for a wound, and then he kissed him on the head. I have never forgotten that. Condolences to his family and all who loved him.
Our condolences to Dr. B's family. My heart is truly sadden to hear of Dr. B's passing. He was an awesome doctor to my 3 dogs. He will be missed. We are praying for the family.
I was so saddened to hear of Dr. B’s passing.
When I moved to Sherwood 7 yrs ago I began taking my pups to him and was thrilled with the care he provided.
He reminded me of the Family Physicians you hear of from LONG ago.
Caring, and kind- he never made you feel he was in a rush. .
Instead he took all the time necessary to explain the dogs condition, educate us , and answer any questions we might have.
He was in a league of his own, and he will be greatly missed. .
So sorry and surprised to hear of Lance's passing. Lance lived in apartment just below me while we were students in Fayetteville. After Lance married Laura, I visited them in student married apartments on campus. They had ferrets back then. Lance was a cool guy.
I've been with B for at 16 year's and my mother longer he was family to us. My animal's loved him and the staff I'm going to miss them all. Even put some of my animals down and you could tell it bothered him too and the staff . He use to joke with me all the time about my animal being over weight. I miss him already. Dr B be in peace you were loved by all

We are so saddened by the loss of this amazing man. He has cared for our many animals for over 20 years, always with great compassion, knowledge and care. He could calm our wildest animal with a gentle hug and soft words. He will be missed by humans and animals alike. Rest in peace Dr. B.
Yes, always colorful, always friendly at our veterinary meetings. Just saw him in December. He left us too soon. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
May we find comfort in our memories of Lance’s kind heart.
He was an awesome man to work for. He was always there to help out when I needed it. He was fearless, took on some of the toughest, meanest pets. I trusted him deeply with my pets and my safety during work. His character was different from most people, but his knowledge was impeccable. Miss you already.
Dr.B will missed. Prayers for his family and staff.
Lance was one of my best friends for over 35 years. He was always a funny quirky friend that tried to find a different kind of happiness every day. Knowing Lance was much like knowing a Wizard. He loved his family more than he could express. Disney more than any man should. All the girls know how he smiled when all were crashed on the couches watching silly movies. Of course it could have been his massage chair. Love you babies. Thanks for letting me be part of your life and letting me play pool with the Wizard to easy my stress. I will miss him more than you can imagine. Love you all
Mark
Dr. B was a great colorful personality that will be missed. I always enjoyed visiting with Lance. He will be missed.
My boss, my friend and my confidant. He stayed by my side through so much with my little family. He was face value. True to the core. It was a privilege to have him for a friend and an honor to work with him.
Can’t believe it. He was the only vet our Clancy had for 15 years and our Jake for over 10 years. He will be greatly missed. Our condolences to family and clinic family.
Dr. B was a kind man and compassionate vet. He will be missed by many.
I am very sorry to hearing the passing of Dr. B. He was so dedicated to his work and how he loved all animals. He was also very compassionate with the owners of their pets. He will be missed.
Thank you Dr. B for everything you have done.
Dr. Bogo was a great guy and a great doctor. Our Tuskegee family will miss him dearly.
Dr. B was a kind man and compassionate vet. He will be missed by many.
I am just devastated by the passing of Dr. B as he was affectionately known by me and my family and many others. He was a wonderful man and I considered him more than a vet as he was a true friend. He stood by us through the lives of 8 ferrets and our dogs and cats. I can’t express adequately the love I have for this man and will continue to pray for his family and his staff who have been wonderful to me as well. May our great God bring you comfort in this very difficult time.
Dr B was always kind and caring. One of a kind personality that lit a room. Many blessings for his family during this difficult time.
So very sorry to hear about Lance’s passing. May his memory be a blessing.
Bogo was one of a kind unpredictable genuine and nonjudgmental with a unique sense of humor. This is a terrible loss for the class of 87 Tuskegee school of vet medicine. Rest in peace

Dr B was an amazing vet and a good friend. We have done rescue work for almost 20 years and he was always great with our over 300 kittens. One of our favorite memories is of Dr B examining one kitten with another in his scrubs top pocket. He loved animals and the critters could tell.
He was more than just my boss for many years. He was also one of the best friends I have ever had. He is going to be greatly missed.
