Doris Sue Selvidge, 90, a resident of Hartman passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Clarksville. She was born May 7, 1933 in Ozark to the late Oscar Ewell and Wardna Ruth (Burcham) Adams.
Doris enjoyed spending her time sewing, reading and working in her flower garden. She was an avid writer, finishing many poems that her family hold dear to them.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Lewis; her brothers, Harold McCallister, Claude McCallister, Donald Adams, Lonnie Adams and Ewell Adams; her sisters, Nina Sosebee, Mary Hinton and Patsy Adams and a stepson, Adrian Selvidge.
Survivors include her husband of 40+ years, James ''Robbie'' Selvidge of Hartman; a son, Gary Barrett and spouse, Cory of Wheeler, Texas; a daughter, Tracy East and spouse, Stephen of Clarksville; her son-in-law, Paul Lewis of Tuskahoma, Oklahoma; a stepson, Ed Selvidge of Clarksville; grandchildren, Matt and spouse, Tracy Fleetwood, Paul Jr., Brad, Brandy, Jenni, Kesten and Chance and numerous great grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are private under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
I WILL MISS MY DEAR AUNT,SHE AND I had a great time together riding horses together at SPRING CREEK,I ALWAYS HAD A GREAT TIME WITH MY AUNT.Daddy and I would come down to see her for yrs. I LOVE YOU AUNT DORIS REST IN PEACH.
