Betty Jean Terrell, 86, of Port Charlotte, FL/ Payneway, AR, passed away January 22, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lavelle Terrell; son, William Anthony ''Tony'' Terrell and parents, Shorty and Louise Wages.
She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and nanny. She dearly loved and cherished her family. She was a beautician for 40 years. She loved to read the Bible, watch John Wayne movies and talk to her friends and family on the phone. She was a true living example of a great Christian woman.
Surviving Betty are son, Lavelle Bryant Terrell (Vicki) of Trumann, AR; daughter, Benita Louise Benicki (Butch) of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Danny Wages of Jonesboro, AR; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through use of The Gideon Bible cards. Both Visitation and Service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Corners Chapel Baptist Church located in Payneway, Arkansas with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM and service to follow. Burial will take place after at Tyronza Cemetery.
So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was always smiling and free with the hugs. May God be with you during these hard times. Your Mom's love will always be with you!
