Ann-Marie Fitzgerald Schwartz entered into eternal rest January 24, 2024, at age 77, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Ann-Marie was born to William and Mary (Gibbs) Fitzgerald on September 8, 1946 at Naval Air Station in Lakehurst, New Jersey. The daughter of a LCDR USN (Ret.), Ann-Marie spent her childhood at Navy bases spanning from Bermuda to Hawaii to California. She attended California State College at Fullerton where she met the love of her life Brian Schwartz. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from San Fernando Valley State College. Ann-Marie and Brian Schwartz were married June 28, 1969 at Naval Air Station Point Mugu, California. After starting their family in 1971 in San Diego, Ann-Marie and Brian then relocated to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1972, where they made a home for the remainder of her life. She was a devout member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church. After raising her four children, Ann-Marie began work as a tax preparer and later enrolled agent at H&R Block in 1990, where she took great joy in helping hundreds of clients over her 27-year career. Ann-Marie loved swimming, cribbage, St. Louis Cardinals, traveling to state capitols with Brian and she was a great cook and baker who instilled love as her main ingredient in her famous lasagna and carrot cake. Ann-Marie was most known for her beautiful loud laughter, where she could fill a building with her contagious joy.
Ann-Marie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Brian; four children, Tim, Theresa (Patterson), Mark and Patty (Robert Terp); four grandchildren, Tori, Alex, Braeden and Camille; her siblings, Kit and Mike; her sisters-in-law, Katie Schwartz and Myra Lockar; brother-in-law, Jim Lockard and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Justin and Maureen and her brother-in-law, Steve Schwartz.
A visitation will be held between 5-7pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Roller Funeral Home with rosary service at 7:30pm to follow. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00am on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with interment to follow at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please direct donations in honor of Ann-Marie to Hospice of the Ozarks.
Ann-Marie was a dear woman and a wonderful godmother to me and my brother. She will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend services, but I'll definitely be donating to Hospice of the Ozarks. Brian, I love you! You and all of your family are in my prayers! May Our Heavenly Father bless Ann-Marie and carry her swiftly into His kingdom!

So sorry to hear about your loss. Although I did not know your mother she sounds like she was an absolutely amazing woman in every aspect! I will be praying that God will bestow the deepest comfort upon your family at this time and that you all will find great peace in the fact she served such a great God in so many ways and through that touched the lives of so many others.
