Jane Allen Light, 63, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away January 23, 2024. She was born June 23, 1960, to Garland Allen and Naomi Shirley Allen in Marianna, Arkansas.
She is survived by three daughters, Lori Wooten (Mike), of Lexa, Arkansas; Kimberly Simpson (Justin), of Festus, Missouri; Anne Marie Light, of Helena, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Michael Wooten III, Brooklyn Wooten, Katelyn Wooten, Emma Newsom, and Adelynn Simpson, one brother, Bobby Allen (Patti), of Georgia; and one sister, Cindy Norman, of Memphis, Tennessee; two nieces, Laura Norman, Kayla Taylor, and several cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Edward Todd.
Jane babysit many children in Phillips County and Lee County for many years, and was a caretaker for many people. She was particularly good at taking care of people. She also enjoyed coaching softball for many years. She was of the Baptist faith.
In Lieu of flowers family request memorials can be made to any charity of your choice.
A visitation for Jane will be held Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 11:00am-12:00pm at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in Marianna, Arkansas.
