Linda Ray Cox, 75, of Grubbs, Arkansas passed away on January 20, 2024 at her home. She was born to Silas and Thelma Martin on March 31, 1948 in Wynne, Arkansas.
Linda was of the Baptist faith and attended Shell Lake Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and cooking. She also loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents; her husband of 52 years, James A. Cox; her daughter, Carol Applebee; her brothers, Thomas Martin, Johnny Martin, Hurbert Martin, Osidene Martin and baby brother; sisters, Carolyn Flusher, Jannette Pipke, Hazel Duncan, Edith Cooley and Viginia Holden.
Linda is survived by her son, James Paul Cox of Grubbs, Arkansas; daughter, Donna Rose of West Memphis, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley Cox of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Kristen Gilliam of Brookland, Arkansas, James P. Cox, Jr. of Lafayette, Louisiana, Christopher Rose of Austin, Arkansas, Jason R. Brazile of West Memphis, Arkansas, Michael Rose of West Memphis, Arkansas and great grandchildren, Christopher Alavez, Layton Gilliam, Harper Gilliam, Gracey Stapler and Axil Rose.
Services for Linda Cox will be on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Memphis, Arkansas. Visitation will begin at 1:30 PM with funeral to follow at 3:00 PM. Burial will take place at Crittenden Memorial Park, Marion, Arkansas.
