Sincere condolences to the entire family. Joyce is a lovely lady and will be remembered by so many.
So sad to hear the news of Joyce’s passing. Joyce was a beautiful Christian lady. I was blessed to go to Gosnell Baptist Church with Joyce.
She served the Lord with gladness.
Always kind, always smiling. I’m happy that she is not sick anymore.
Rest in Peace Joyce Austin. You will be missed. + for her family and her many friends. I’m proud to call her my friend too.
I can’t have had a better stepmother, but I never called her that. I called her Mother because she married my dad when I was 11-years-old, and, from that point on, she treated me as if I were her own child. I loved that she always honored the memory of my first mother, Betty Montgomery Austin, whom she had known for years.
I have so many cherished memories of her and loved her as much as I loved my parents. I will be publishing a tribute podcast episode soon at FamilyTwistPodcast dot com.
My thoughts are with Darla, Carla, Brad, Donnell, Aunt Delois, Uncle Jimmy, and Uncle Wayne. I love you all. I might not be able to celebrate her life with you on January 27, but I will connect with you to reminisce about Mother.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
We love you and Jesus loves you too.
Love,
Jimmy and Carol
I’m so sorry for your loss.
What a sweet soul. Ms Joyce will be greatly missed by family and friends. Sending prayers.
Joyce helped fill a void in our family. She will always be in our thoughts and hearts.
I could not of had a better example of how to be growing up. She was soooo sweet and giving. Yes she is my step grandma, but our family didn't ever refer to her as that. It was just Grandma Joyce. I miss her already. I missed her a long time ago.
The Lord has taken my sister home to Him. She is truly blessed.
Delois, so sorry for your loss. Prayers and thoughts for you during this time.
Joyce was the perfect Christian example to all who knew her. She was the most giving person I know.
