Kathryn Ann Grafmyre, 59, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at her home. She was born on January 13, 1965, in Duluth, MN, to Gordon Peterson and Darlene Eagle (Larson). She graduated from Denfield High School, class of 1982. Kathy was married to Thomas Grafmyre and had two children, James, and Darryl Grafmyre. While they later divorced, they remained good friends and raised their boys together. Their sons were her world and that world expanded to fill her hear with the addition of her beloved grandchildren, Lepley and Zeke Gramynre, Kindall, Kindra and Bryden Simmons.

Kathy loved and cared for her five dogs as family also. She came from a large extended family full of aunts, uncles, and cousins too numerous to name here, but she loved and was loved by them all. She was the eldest sister to both Tonna Bartlett and Wayne ''Butch'' Zillmer, and she was the pillar they could both lean on. Kathy was an amazing woman of great strength and a large heart. She was a friend to many and loved by everyone she knew. Kathy would drop whatever she was doing to help anyone that needed her.

Kathy was a woman of faith and a member Augustana Lutheran Church in Duluth. She cared for the elderly as a CAN while living in Duluth. Her hobbies included puzzles, cryptograms, flea markets, and painting by numbers. She mostly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Kathy was buried on 1//30/2024 in a small service for close family and friends.

Arrangements for a Celebration of Life are made for March 9, 2024, 2:00 pm in 2 locations, her former home, in Jonesboro, and at the Go Fer, Central and Raliegh in Duluth MN.
