Janell and Family, So sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
When I think of Uncle Mike, I think about his big laugh and his strong hands. I think about summers on the lake. I think about how the smell of gasoline and the taste of KFC will forever be linked in my mind because of all those trips to the lake learning to ski and hanging on for dear life while he pulled me and my cousins behind the boat tubing. I remember staying at Mike and Janell's house and he would wake up the kids by turning on all the lights and the ceiling fan then pulling the covers off of us and walking out of the room! Then he would make us all breakfast. I remember watching him weld in the back yard.
When I think of Uncle Mike I think about how during my Granny’s funeral I ended up sitting next to him and even though I hadn’t seem him in a long time, I just felt better sitting next to him.
I think about how much I admired his work ethic. How impressed I always was by how much he knew how to do, how smart he was.
I think about how much he loved his family. How proud he was of them. He didn’t have to say anything about it. You could see it in his smile when they were around.
I will miss him. He went much too soon. I will always be proud to call him my family.
I was Mike's brother-in-law. I had a large amount of respect for the man that he was and the things he did to provide for his family. He was kind and caring for not only his family, but he was a really good uncle to my two daughters. He had the respect from everyone in my family. The Lord said of Mike,
"Well done, good and faithful servant."
The world lost a wonderful man with the sudden passing of my brother-in-law, Mike Tygart. Mike’s talents ranged from running a successful company, to cooking amazing professional-like meals, and loving his wife and two daughters fiercely. . His three grandchildren were the apple of his eye.
So sorry to hear this sad news. My thoughts are with the family.
I'm sorry for your loss
