A.C. Daniel, 83, of Trumann passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on October 18, 1940 in Fulton County, AR to Edwin and Lora (Tadlock) Daniel. A.C. was a member of Refuge General Baptist Church and was a deacon there for over 60 years. He worked for Singer and Delta Wood factories before retiring. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an assistant scout master and a member of the Order of the Arrow. One of his greatest hobbies was going to high school football games. Especially his favorite team, the Trumann Wildcats.
Preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Daniel; 3 brothers, J.D., Donald and Lyndall Daniel.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Norma (Passmore) Daniel; son, Bobby Daniel; grandchildren, Ashley Daniel, Shawn (Crystal) Daniel and Hunter (Megan) Daniel; great grandchildren, Kayla Walker, Jordyn Walker, Emma Daniel, Callie Jo Daniel, Brinley Daniel and Piper Daniel; brothers, J.C. and Ken Daniel.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 at 11:00 am at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W. Washington Ave, Jonesboro with Steve Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Daniel, Hunter Daniel, Shawn Daniel, Bryan Walters, Paul Bingham and Darrell Thompson. The honorary pallbearer will be Jake Gilley.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials can be made to Refuge General Baptist Church, 5002 Hwy 18, Lake City, AR. 72437.
