Childhood connections are an ongoing, forever bonding experience. Reconnecting throughout our adult lives as if we had just spoken. Your earthly battle with illness and pain is over dear friend; you are now in the arms of our Lord. RIP&L Viv

Our lives connected throughout the years. We met and played when we were children, sliding down the hill on pine straw on cardboard, at your Grandmother’s house in Arkadelphia, then you moved away. We reconnected in college and picked up where we left off and years later reconnected again after our children were grown. Lives intertwined creating wonderful memories. You and your laughter will be greatly missed dear friend. Rest in peace

Vivian and I have been family since Joe and Rachel were 21 and were married. Vivian was a good friend and, sometimes, coconspirator when our children needed a little guidance (we thought). So thankful she has been in my life all these years.
The first holiday after my husband died was Thanksgiving in 2013, and Vivian, her sister, and their families were so kind in inviting me to share with them in that celebration. It really made a difference for me. Just one example of how she cared for others.
I will miss her and her wonderful smile the rest of my life.

Goodbye sweet friend. We connected so beautifully at 17 and never looked back. I’m sorry things kept us apart these last few years but I will never forget our fun times in high school and college. Love, Mary
