Jackie Lynn Scott of Osceola, AR passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1950 to Jack Dempsy and Velma Eloise Scott. Jackie co-owned and operated the family business, Scott Sheet Metal and Welding, with his brother until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing slots and spending time doing things with his sons-in-law. He was a jokester who loved playing around with his grandchildren. Jackie is survived by his loving wife, Linda Kay Scott, whom he married on May 26, 1971; daughters, Stacey (David) Hurley, Lynzie (Tony) Herron, Kellie (Joe) Jordan and Becky ''BJ'' (William) Bennett; grandchildren, Madison, Matt, Maci, Ali, Lilly, Alayna, Drew, Ella, Rileigh and Carson; brother, Davie (Cherrie) Scott, as well as a host special people, including his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Shirley Novak.
