Billie Jo "BJ" Cobb, age 81, of Ridgeway, Arkansas, passed away December 25, 2023, at Hospice of the Hills Hospice House. She was born December 20, 1942, at home in the Ridgeway Community to Joseph Uri and Essie J. (Gass) Chaney.
Billie was a member of Ridgway Church of Christ and a lifelong resident of Ridgeway. She married Russell Cobb on February 2, 1962, at the home of her parents. She taught the little kids' Sunday School class for thirty-plus years; and worked for Claridge Products; and Roberts Motor Rentals for over thirty years. She enjoyed genealogy and sewing dresses for missionary services.
She is survived by her husband, Russell, of the home; her daughters and sons-in-law, Gina and Richard Blevins of Omaha and Tina and Troy Burleson of Lead Hill; five grandchildren, Kayla (Chase) Payne, Kristin (Brandon) Motley, Brian (Megan) Blevins, Brianne Burleson and Skyler Burleson; eight great-grandchildren and nieces, Sherrye McBryde and Tracy Burleson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, LouEtta Villines and Donna Dillard.
Visitation was Thursday, December 28, 2023, with the funeral service following at Ridgeway Church of Christ with Bill Arnold officiating.
The interment was in Gass Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brian Blevins, Sklyer Burleson, Chase Payne, Brandon Motley, Tom Collins, and Rob Hulsey.

Worked with Bilie Jo at Roberts Motor Rentals for 10 years. She was always super nice, and I appreciate all the kindness she extended to me.
