Melvin Edward Quearry, 95, of Batesville passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2023.
He was born February 12, 1928 in Batesville, Arkansas to Carl Quearry and Leona Howard Quearry.
Melvin was a member of Chinquapin Church of Christ.
Survivors include his two sons, Kenneth Quearry (Renee) and Roger Quearry both of Batesville; two daughters, Elaine Dowell (Larry) and Lisa Graham (Jimmy) both of Batesville; three sisters, Brenda Mead, Louise Etheridge and Inell Massey all of Batesville; nine grandchildren, Amanda Dowell, Keith Dowell (Tabatha), Jessica Ward (Corey), Tawny Parker (Jeremy), Amanda Tran, Ashley Williams (Corey), Alicia Barber (Nick), Brian Quearry, Brittney McBride (Bryan) and several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Quearry; sisters, Velma Jean Carlson, Helen White, Nettie Moser and Linda Fairchild and brothers, James Quearry and Tommy Joe Quearry.
Pallbearers are Brian Quearry, Bryan McBride, Keith Dowell, Payton Dowell, Corey Ward and Noah McBride.
Services will be private.
