Mary Ruth Young, born on August 18, 1934, passed from this life on December 11, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Clinton, Arkansas to the late Johnny and Bertha (Harmon) Holley. Mary was an amazing mother, grandma, great grandma, aunt and sister. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, George Young; four brothers, David Holly, Johnny Ray Holly, James Holly, Charles Holly; one daughter, Sandra Standridge; one grandson, Danial Young and one great grandson, Danial Lane William Young.
Left to carry on her memory are two brothers, Ted Holly, Bob Holley; two sisters, Sue Engles, Dana Henson; three sons, Billy Young, Johnathan Young, Steve Young; one daughter, Jennifer Anderson; seven grandchildren, Steve Young, JR., Joseph Duncan, Justin Young, Asha Young, Dalton Young, Christopher Young, Heath Young; great grandchildren, Mahliki Sutterfield, Jadince Young, Graesyn Young, Zander Young, Eli Young, Asher Young, Lilli Young, Brogan Young, Adalee Young, Ava Young, Ariya Young, Joshua Young, Jaydon Young, Emory Duncan; others include, Tyona, Bella, Maddie, Gigi; other extended family, relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers will be Steve Young, Billy Young, Johnathan Young, Steve Young, Jr., Justin Young, Matthew Wood, Travis Fultz and Joseph Duncan. Dalton Young will be an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at the Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pee Dee cemetery.
