John Beecher Floyd of Imboden, AR passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge, AR, at the age of 40 years. John was born July 24, 1983 in Lancaster, CA to Daryl and Patricia Ann (Cockrell) Floyd. He was an inventory analyst with Nielson Bainbridge in Pocahontas, AR.
John was preceded in death by his father.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of John include his mother; a sister, Sara Benson; a niece, Halle Ann Benson and a cousin, Wesley Wade.
A memorial visitation will be held 2 pm to 3 pm Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, AR.
I remember John mainly as a small boy in my Sunday School class at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. He was a sweet boy and I know h will be sorely missed. God Bless you all.

I’m trying to be positive like you would want and think of you in heaven seeing all your friends and family because God knows you are already there You were a very good person and as a Christian you made sure to set yourself apart from this evil world! I was blessed to have known you a day much less had you for such a dear friend for so many years!! God tends to take the Good ones early!! To John’s Mother and sister there are no words besides I’m so sorry for your loss and I’m praying for you hard. Because only Jesus can give us true comfort right now!! He loved his Mother so much he bought her a van with his bonus! He was so proud to do that he always took up for lil sister!! He didn’t play when it came to Sara oh but that niece sweetheart that hug you gave him at that football game meant more to him than gold and jewels!!! He loved y’all all so very much!!!
