Kari Mize Huff, 56, of Newark passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.
She was born October 19, 1967 in Conway, Arkansas to Thomas Charles Mize and Patricia Mae Steward Mize.
Kari graduated from Beebe High School in 1986 and also went on to get her Bachelors from ASU. She was a member of Crossroads Cowboy Church. She was very outspoken and was the best wife and sister you could have. She worked as a conservationist for USDA/NRCS for 35 years and loved helping farmers. Kari was also a sheep farmer herself and also loved going to cow, horse, and sheep sales as well as rodeos and horse shows. She enjoyed going to flea markets and collected antique Hull pottery.
Survivors include her husband, Kendall Boyd Huff of the home; her father, Thomas Charles Mize of Beebe; one sister, Cindy Alumbaugh (Everett) of McCrory; two nephews, Ty Alumbaugh (Meagan) and Tarzan Alumbaugh (Bree); one great-niece, Berkley Alumbaugh and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Steward Mize; paternal grandparents, Preston and Helen Mize; maternal grandmother, Ellen Whittington and uncle, James Steward.
Pallbearers are Everett Alumbaugh, Ty Alumbaugh, Tarzan Alumbaugh, Kevin Huff, Keith Baker and John Evans.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00pm Monday, December 11, 2023 at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home with Jeremy Cox officiating. Burial will follow at Center Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00pm Monday, December 11, 2023 at the funeral home prior to service.
