J.D. Jacobs, 100, a resident of Clarksville passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 in Clarksville.
He was the son of the late Herman and Vannie Jacobs of Ozark. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Thompson of Clarksville and brother, Bob Jacobs of McKinney, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Betty Jacobs; his son, Mike (Adele) Jacobs of Clarksville; a son-in-law, Gary Thompson of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Jake Thompson, Anna Jacobs and Ben Jacobs; his great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ava Thompson; nephews and niece, Bob and Don Jacobs and Beth Harlow and numerous other family members and friends.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a retired OG&E employee and a retired cattle farmer.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2023 at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville. Pastor Heather Clawitter will officiate. Donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Clarksville.
Just now learned about J.D. He lived a long and good life. I attempted to call both of you several months ago but never got you.
