Richard Alan Bevington was born on October 1, 1945 in Cadillac, Michigan to Dwight Ernest Bevington and Naomi Jeanne Youmans Bevington. He was one of seven children and grew up in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. During his life he was an athlete and honor student, a draftsman, a leather worker, a business owner, a stained glass maker, a realtor, a musician and a carpenter. He passed away at his home in on November 19, 2023. He is survived by his brother, Ken; his sister, Mary and his daughter, Fond.
