My thoughts and prayers to your family and dear friends during this difficult time. Lou Ann was one of a kind and well thought of by so many. I sure enjoyed listening to her stories and reading her books. We might have lost her here but I know she is saving us a good spot and having a long dance with Sharman B.
I will always treasure the books Lou Ann wrote about the people who shaped our lives as we grew up in the hills along Rush Creek, Clabber Creek, and Blue John.
She was a very important part of my childhood from the moment she took my hand on the first day of school and made sure I had the right teacher.
Her memory is a blessing for all who knew and loved her.
