Donna Joyce (Teague) Vire, 82, a resident of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, in Clarksville.
She was born October 21, 1941 in Hobbs, New Mexico to the late M.J. and Valtina (Herman) Teague. Donna married her late husband of 49 years, Rabin Vire, in 1960. They spent their years together centered around family. Donna's love and devotion for her family is what she will be remembered for the most. In addition to family, she enjoyed spending her time cooking, flower gardening and sewing. Donna spent her working years in sales at Mid-South Roller in Clarksville. She was of the Baptist faith and felt it was a blessing to be given the family she was.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Rabin Vire; a brother, Mike Teague and her maternal grandparents, Marion and Lila Herman.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie Ault and husband, James of Royal; a son, Randy Vire and wife, Cindy of Clarksville; four grandchildren, Layne James and husband, Cody of Monticello, Amie Zavala and husband, Angelo of Burkburnett, Texas, Dustin Vire and wife, Breanna of Russellville and Chance Vire and fiance', Scout Simpson of Clarksville; three great grandchildren, Knox and Amri James and Asher Zavala; a brother, Larry Teague of Clarksville and two sisters, Judy Reeves of Clarksville and Sharon Terry and husband, Roy of Hagarville.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with Pastor Jeff Mize officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Cody James, Dustin and Chance Vire, Trey Teague, John Mark Vire and Cody Mize. Amie and Angelo Zavala, Layne James, Breanna Vire, Scout Simpson and James Ault will serve as honorary pallbearers.
