Edward Leroy Guest, age 73, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. He was born February 9, 1950 in Helena, Arkansas to the late C.W. Guest and Catherine Guest. His line of work was a river boat pilot. Edward was member of the First Assembly of God in Forrest City. Edward served our country in the United States Army. Edward?s hobbies were hunting, fishing, wood working and making jewelry for his beautiful wife, Gale Guest. He loved his dogs, Buster and Brownie.
He is survived by his wife, Gale Guest; one son, Vincent Guest of Wynne, Arkansas; one daughter, Heather Greene (Matthew) of Heber Springs, Arkansas and five grandchildren, Alec, Kris, Logan, Rose and Geneva.
He is preceded in death by his parents, C.W. Guest and Catherine Guest and two sisters, Mary Sanford and Sandra Moneymaker.
The pallbearers will be Alec Guest, Kris Guest, Logan Guest, Matt Greene, Kendall Davenport and Chris Howard.
Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God, 1705 S. Washington St., Forrest City, AR 72335.
A visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 2, 2023 at First Assembly of God, Forrest City, Arkansas. A funeral service for Edward Leroy Guest will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 3, 2023 at First Assembly of God in Forrest City, Arkansas. Interment will follow at Birdeye State Veteran?s Cemetery near Levesque, Arkansas. Brother William Cooper will officiate.
