It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Larry Hubert Jacobs, 77, of Bee Branch, a devoted Christian, proud Marine, dedicated truck driver and passionate outdoorsman. He touched the lives of many and leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and unwavering faith. Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents, Hubert and Hazel Jacobs and two brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Jacobs.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his wife of 37 years, Pat Jacobs of Bee Branch; sister, Lola (John) Jurca of Texas; children, Jason, Chris and Kathleen Jacobs of Texarkana; step-children, Doug (Wendy) Eason of Bee Branch, Lesla (John) Hays of Damascus, Ann (David) Clift of Bee Branch, Mark (Angie) Eason of Lindsay, TX; two nieces; five nephews; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great- grandchildren.
His warm smile, gentle spirit and unwavering love will forever be etched in our hearts.
A Celebration of Larry Jacobs' life will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11:00AM at First Baptist Church in Damascus with Bro. Daniel Williams and Bro. Steve Stephens officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at 10:00AM. Larry will be laid to rest at Pine Mountain Cemetery in Damascus.
Pallbearers will be David Clift, Mark Eason, Adam Eason, Luke Eason, Nathan Smith and Craig Clute.
Honorary Pallbearers are Doug Eason and Derek Kendall.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Larry Jacobs. Semper Fi.
