Doris Ann Brooks, 79, of Trumann passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023. She was born on March 11, 1944 in Bragg City, MO to Odit and Ida Mae Jones. Doris was a member of the Assembly of God Church and was a lifelong homemaker. Doris will be remembered for her fiery spirit and attitude.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billy Joe Brooks; her parents; a daughter, Donna Huff and a grand-daughter, Lis Marie Huff.
Those left to remember Doris are her daughter, Robin Forbus; grandchildren, Leandrea Carter (Steven), Brooke Forbus (Sammi Jo), Eric Huff and Brittany Huff and great-grandchildren, Chase King (Shakiya Hallman), Ashton King, Titan King, Elijah Byerly, Mallard Carter and Embrie Byerly.
All services are private. Arrangements are under the care of Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home.

I have known Doris since she married my cousin Billy many years ago. She has always been bigger than life and full of love for Billy. I know she will be missed by her family. I am sorry for your loss and pray for peace and comfort for all.
